Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC Lugano's Jack Zihler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jack Zihler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Fix. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Zihler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to A.F Cuervos Azulgranas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Guaberto Dalmau hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Dalmau in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flemming Cavegn saved FC Lugano from getting behind. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Arnulfo Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmar Lõvi in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Zihler in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Fix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's zone, Flint Nobile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Fix came out of the goal and Flint Nobile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnulfo Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Zihler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Barrientos to maneuver through the defense. Ilmar Lõvi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half FC Lugano were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Aztore made a kick off. Flemming Cavegn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Aztore in the 51st minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Stefan Ubersechs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eleuterio Aztore got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Polo Maldini hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Isusko came free, but Flemming Cavegn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Fix made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ilmar Lõvi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Aztore in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Lugano's goalkeeper Flemming Cavegn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flemming Cavegn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Aztore's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Flemming Cavegn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience cheered when Angel Isusko's long shot passed Flemming Cavegn's right side. It was 1-2, 89 minutes into the match. FC Lugano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
