Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Belchior Mamatulin got the match started through his kick off. Peter Čech came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Brazil's Belchior Mamatulin. But to his dismay, Belchior Mamatulin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Eusébio Orange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cesare Maldini hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Lucas came free, but Peter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joga Facius made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eriberto Lucas. 29 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Belchior Mamatulin came free, but Peter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Brazil's Belchior Mamatulin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Lucas scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Čech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peter Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Mamatulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Eusébio Orange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Brazil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Orange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Pizarro had several of the U21 Brazil's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Norberto Heerdt as he didn't even see the shot coming. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Pizarro to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Pizarro in the 52nd minute of play forced U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Norberto Heerdt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dayan Manchenko made a great header on U21 Peru's corner, it was just that U21 Brazil's Norberto Heerdt managed to reach the ball for a save. Eusébio Orange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Čech having to interfere. U21 Peru's Peter Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Lucas in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Eriberto Lucas notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of U21 Peru's Peter Čech. Peter Čech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Pizarro in the 61st minute of play forced U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Norberto Heerdt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Peter Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belchior Mamatulin got free with Peter Čech in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Lucas came free, but Peter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Belchior Mamatulin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Čech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. U21 Brazil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Lucas in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on U21 Brazil's corner Eriberto Lucas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Peter Čech quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute, U21 Brazil's Belchior Mamatulin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Čech. Peter Čech yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. U21 Brazil's Nico Williams was substituted for Belchior Mamatulin. U21 Peru made a substitution. Joaquin Ramon replaced Claudio Pizarro. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Caio Pinto replaced Eusébio Orange. U21 Peru's Xanti Lastras was substituted for Ponciano Gegunde. After 82 played minutes U21 Brazil got a freekick which was hit by Nico Williams. In the 84th minute, Gui Joinvilense had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to U21 Peru getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lee-Paul Ramon hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caco Barbosa got free with Peter Čech in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes, Milian Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Peru and the U21 Brazil players grew even worse after the yellow card. U21 Brazil's Norberto Heerdt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Ramon in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 Peru's Dayan Manchenko got a free kick in the 95th minute.
