Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vuyani Tshabalala got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Abdelmalek Banouas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Makweni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of U21 MZ Country booed when U21 South Africa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leslie Mufadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7th play minutes Abdelmalek Banouas shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Johannes Makweni and just under the crossbar into goal. After 10 played minutes U21 South Africa got a freekick which was hit by Meshack Khomane. U21 South Africa's Johannes Makweni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mamaar Fergani in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Abdelmalek Banouas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. U21 South Africa's Johannes Makweni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Johannes Makweni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmalek Banouas in the 14th minute of the match. Johannes Makweni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mamaar Fergani's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahar Lamine in the 19th minute of play forced U21 South Africa's goalkeeper Johannes Makweni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Mamaar Fergani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Makweni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Hamza Feraoun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Johannes Makweni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hakim Raï showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meshack Khomane, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes, Vuyani Tshabalala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 South Africa and the U21 MZ Country players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, U21 South Africa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vuyani Tshabalala to maneuver through the defense. The U21 MZ Country fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when U21 MZ Country's Abdelmalek Banouas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Abdelmalek Banouas sped through U21 South Africa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johannes Makweni. 36 minutes into the match, Mamaar Fergani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Makweni. U21 South Africa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mamaar Fergani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. U21 MZ Country's Mamaar Fergani got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Abdelmalek Banouas sped through U21 South Africa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johannes Makweni. Abdelmalek Banouas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Johannes Makweni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Abdelmalek Banouas managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 MZ Country's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelmalek Banouas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Makweni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When U21 MZ Country's Mamaar Fergani in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 South Africa's goalie prevented a goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelmalek Banouas to make the kick off. Johannes Makweni didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 MZ Country's Mamaar Fergani shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. Hamza Feraoun hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Mamaar Fergani came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the U21 MZ Country fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mamaar Fergani couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Mamaar Fergani made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. U21 South Africa's Johannes Makweni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Johannes Makweni was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Abdelmalek Banouas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdelmalek Banouas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. U21 MZ Country's Abderrahmane Soltani was substituted for Abdelmalek Banouas. 79 minutes into the match, U21 South Africa's goal looked a bit too open when Mamaar Fergani came free, but Johannes Makweni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mamaar Fergani in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes Makweni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mamaar Fergani received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johannes Makweni came out and tried to block the shot, but Mamaar Fergani slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute Abderrahmane Soltani suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 89 minutes, Maluleke Dube mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 South Africa and the U21 MZ Country players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of U21 South Africa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of U21 MZ Country:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fathi Ben Khalidi got free with Johannes Makweni in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
