Cecilio Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Bonifacio Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Andrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind River's goalkeeper Cecilio Dalmai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enzo Asteri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Dalmai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Enzo Asteri struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Cecilio Dalmai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Denis Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Rosario pal Mundo's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Dalmai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to River getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ruben Baumer hit a great ball. Cecilio Dalmai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enzo Asteri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Enzo Asteri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Dalmai was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Chayo in the 67th minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Cecilio Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cecilio Dalmai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Gerazan went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Denis Chepe might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Dalmai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Chepe ran back to his position shaking his head. Gogo Bernat kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Asteri in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Dalmai saved River from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Nicolas Chayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that De Rosario pal Mundo were the better team. De Rosario pal Mundo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
