Domingos Berdoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Paulin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The corner led Bazán's Fakir Falstaff to fire away a dangerous shot which Alonzo Paulin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 8th match minute, Bazán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes, Ciro Duarte made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Águilas Futbol Club's Alonzo Paulin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciro Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Paulin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gareth Wilson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bazán's supporters rose to their feet, but Gareth Wilson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Paulin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Alonzo Paulin managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Bazán's Ciro Duarte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Bazán's Domingos Berdoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alonzo Paulin. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Ciro Duarte in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alonzo Paulin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 30 minutes into the match, Ciro Duarte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alonzo Paulin, 4-0. After 39 minutes of play, Bazán's Gareth Wilson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Paulin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute Domingos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alonzo Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Urtun hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Jerardo to make the kick off. When Domingos Berdoi came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bazán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Berdoi couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Bartuelo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ciro Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Paulin was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Bazán's Donato Celio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Paulin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonzo Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bazán booed when Águilas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Bartuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bazán's Gareth Wilson in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Águilas Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. Alonzo Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gareth Wilson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Ciro Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nicasio Eguen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Águilas Futbol Club's protests and gave Nicasio Eguen a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Duarte in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alonzo Paulin saved Águilas Futbol Club from getting behind. After 68 minutes, Ciro Duarte made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Águilas Futbol Club's Alonzo Paulin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Domingos Berdoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Alonzo Paulin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Duarte in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Paulin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Ciro Duarte put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alonzo Paulin. Nicasio Eguen hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Duarte in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Paulin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Águilas Futbol Club's Alonzo Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gareth Wilson in the 91st minute of play. Clodoveo Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Ciro Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Paulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. There was no doubt that Bazán were the better team. Bazán's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
