Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xandão Crouch in the 23rd minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ion Ţiriac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktor Orbán stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
