Baal Bába was left in no man's land by his defense there! Várzea F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baal Bába breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Galvão. Richard Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomo Aguas in the 72nd minute of play.
