Michel Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Kristofer Peck came free, but Bryant Miles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristofer Peck scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bryant Miles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Drew Casey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Cohen in the 21st minute of the match. Drew Casey made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Claudio Del Giudice sent off a good shot on target. Evan Cohen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Drew Casey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Drew Casey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anwar Basim in the 32nd minute of play. Bryant Miles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The Creekers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. University of Rochester were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dale Kirkpatrick to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Tesone in the 53rd minute of play forced University of Rochester's goalkeeper Drew Casey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Creekers booed when University of Rochester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Popescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drew Casey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Del Giudice, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Xavier Salazar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of University of Rochester's Drew Casey.
