In the 10th minute, Orlando Celipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Bartoleme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eriberto Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Cirilo Maurino took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Bartoleme. Eriberto Bartoleme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 20th minute, Cirilo Maurino made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Bartoleme. Fakas FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Cirilo Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eriberto Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fakas FC. defense, Orlando Celipe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Bartoleme. The Fakas FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Bartoleme should have stopped the shot. Eriberto Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Maurino in the 31st minute of play. Uriel Ezkerra hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Orlando Celipe took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Bartoleme. Eriberto Bartoleme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Eriberto Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After the first half MEGGEN 2003 F.C. were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uriel Ezkerra to strike the kick off in the second half. Uriel Ezkerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Scioli having to interfere. MEGGEN 2003 F.C.'s Orlando Celipe got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Arnas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Cirilo Maurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Fakas FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Sein to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Celipe struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eriberto Bartoleme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEGGEN 2003 F.C.. Orlando Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Maurino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Bartoleme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Celipe got free with Eriberto Bartoleme in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervasio Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eriberto Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Maurino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Bartoleme was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Orlando Celipe came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the MEGGEN 2003 F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Celipe couldn't finish the play.
