Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Genaro Henric kicked off to start the match. When Paulo Gipuzkoa fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marull's protests and gave Paulo Gipuzkoa a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Genaro Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Henric was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marull's zone, Claudio Mannuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Calvet came out of the goal and Claudio Mannuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Bülent Sonay was a little too slow when Genaro Henric got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ahmet Bülent Sonay made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Soin in the 22nd minute. When Claudio Mannuel came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Cervantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Mannuel couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, David Soin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Bülent Sonay. Cervantes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Soin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cervantes's zone, Genaro Henric stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Bülent Sonay came out of the goal and Genaro Henric tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Cervantes's goalkeeper Ahmet Bülent Sonay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Soin. After 37 played minutes Cervantes got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Gaspar. David Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cervantes getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Leonardo Gaspar hit a great ball. When Cayetano Demario came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Marull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Demario couldn't finish the play. Marull's David Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The supporters of Cervantes booed when Marull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Constantino Calvet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cervantes! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Marull. Valentin Argoitz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Bülent Sonay. 3-0. The supporters of Cervantes booed when Marull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Soin in the 75th minute of play forced Cervantes's goalkeeper Ahmet Bülent Sonay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Genaro Henric in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Guillermo Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Constantino Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Bülent Sonay having to interfere. David Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Marull could leave the field as winners, despite Cervantes having more of the ball for most of the match.
