In the 28th match minute, Kraken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Calvet to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Ezequiel Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Procyon ᶠᶜ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Tono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Calvet scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Remir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Santos Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vali Aanicăi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Kraken FC's Baldomiro Remir threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vali Aanicăi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 66th minute Norberto Orzaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Mateus's late challenge caught a Kraken FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Kraken FC's Anastasio Calvet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomiro Remir. That made the score 1-4 after 93 minutes of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Kraken FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Procyon ᶠᶜ side.
