In the 6th minute, Anier Paio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, StardustRevolution's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Colombatti came free, but Nunez Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by StardustRevolution's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gogo Nicholas was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Balvanera's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 15 in the game by Celso Banegas from a close distance when the talented Nunez Ilixo managed to make a qualified save. StardustRevolution's players were relieved. 17 minutes into the match, StardustRevolution's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Paz came free, but Nunez Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Rubén Paz could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Nunez Ilixo however easily saved by the left post. StardustRevolution's Nunez Ilixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save StardustRevolution from getting a goal against them. Paulino Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Urbano Camerino hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gregorio Mel took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Endura. Paulino Endura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Deportivo Balvanera's attentive Bruno Cappello managed to snatch the ball when Cristian Sustrai made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. 42 minutes into the game, Apolo Jesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. StardustRevolution's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Balvanera the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Apolo Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Mel made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Ángel Colombatti. Nunez Ilixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Colombatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Silvano Sidoro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulino Endura, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Balvanera's zone, Gregorio Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Endura came out of the goal and Gregorio Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched StardustRevolution eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
