Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Anwas Kenna started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, U21 Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Anwas Kenna came free, but Ryan Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Nicholas Davis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Scotland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. U21 Scotland's Ryan Wright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tegvan Dowthwaite in the 8th minute of play. Kenn Brabazon charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenn Brabazon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute Anwas Kenna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Wright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Wright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peissawg Criddle in the 18th minute of the match. Nicholas Davis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Calder Inge made a huge save. Jordan McChlery hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Calder Inge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Long John in the 27th minute of the match. Calder Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Davis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Tegvan Dowthwaite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Long John hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sean McDrain kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Tegvan Dowthwaite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Wright having to interfere. After 46 played minutes U21 Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Neil McLeverty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sean McDrain to strike the kick off in the second half. Calder Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil McLeverty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Wales's Calder Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean McDrain in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Davis in the 54th minute of play forced U21 Wales's goalkeeper Calder Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Nicholas Davis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calder Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, U21 Scotland's goalkeeper Ryan Wright had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peissawg Criddle. Nicholas Davis struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Calder Inge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Scotland. When U21 Wales's Anwas Kenna in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Calder Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Davis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, U21 Wales's Ryan Wright threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anwas Kenna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 89 in the game by Nynnyaw Eckles from a close distance when the talented Ryan Wright managed to make a qualified save. U21 Scotland's players were relieved. U21 Scotland's Ryan Wright proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Scotland from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The U21 Scotland fans cheered their team off the field, for while U21 Wales had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
