Canada's Percy Ivey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Ason in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th minute, Agustin Ason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percy Ivey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mikhail Tal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökdeniz Karadeniz in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Canada were awarded a corner. Reed Escobar went to the cornerflag to take it. Roi Arroyuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Ivey having to interfere. Mikhail Tal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Roi Arroyuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Ivey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Len Whitfield to maneuver through the defense. Roi Arroyuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gökdeniz Karadeniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikhail Tal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthieu Watkins in the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthieu Watkins in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikhail Tal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Percy Ivey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roi Arroyuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Bernaldo Bolimburu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the game, Matthieu Watkins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mikhail Tal. Matthieu Watkins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Ason stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mikhail Tal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Canales in the 55th minute of the match. Canada's Percy Ivey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roegelio Igual in the 56th minute of play. Mikhail Tal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Magno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Percy Ivey made a huge save. Roi Arroyuelo in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Percy Ivey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 64 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Roi Arroyuelo came free, but Percy Ivey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
