In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Colombia's goalkeeper Domingos Turienzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, U21 Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rian Giggs to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Domingos Turienzo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 80th minute, U21 Argentina's Ulises Manex ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingos Turienzo. Domingos Turienzo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 82nd minute, Ulises Manex reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingos Turienzo. The goal made the score 1-3. 85 minutes into the game, Rosendo Paez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Argentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Colombia the free kick.
