Nikizanga FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gökmen İnciroğlu in the 4th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Santos Hotz advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 4th minute. If Mateo Ferretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikizanga FC's Mateo Ferretti got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Gökmen İnciroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nikizanga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Nikizanga FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adrian Rutenio hit a great ball. Peter Lindon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Placido Fraco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Hurley kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mateo Ferretti hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Paradise Cove's Geoffrey Price in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nikizanga FC's goalie prevented a goal. Paradise Cove's Nicolas Stevens managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gökmen İnciroğlu in the 43 minute of the game. Saturnino Kelemen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Jones having to make a save. In the 46th minute Geoffrey Price shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Fraco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Kelemen was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Paradise Cove's zone, Saturnino Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Jones came out of the goal and Saturnino Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Gökmen İnciroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Jones was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 59 played minutes Nikizanga FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Ferretti. When Nikizanga FC's Gökmen İnciroğlu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paradise Cove's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Gökmen İnciroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Jones was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Gökmen İnciroğlu struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Robert Jones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nikizanga FC. Robert Jones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Paradise Cove defense, Saturnino Kelemen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Jones. The Paradise Cove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Jones should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Nikizanga FC booed when Paradise Cove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Dickinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Nikizanga FC's Saturnino Kelemen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Jones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Paradise Cove's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
