Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Urre in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batu Serdengeçti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Leszek Maziarski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Marlin FC's Denis Pacho. Denis Pacho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Forres FC booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Denis Pacho got control of the ball when Clemente Gipuzkoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forres FC's goalkeeper Batu Serdengeçti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Forres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Urre came free, but Batu Serdengeçti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Urre was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ruben Illart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Illart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Pacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Pacho came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Forres FC's Veremundo Maestro. But to his dismay, Veremundo Maestro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 95 minutes into the game, Enzo Demesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forres FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlin FC the free kick. In the 95th minute, Enzo Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
