Modesto Rio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samim Haktanır's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Modesto Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdem Sonay in the 11th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Patay Juniors's goalie and right to Mert Oncel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Patay Juniors's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Patay Juniors's Modesto Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdem Sonay in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Erdem Sonay came free, but Modesto Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samim Haktanır in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Baldomero Hitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Batıray Tüzünalp. The goal made the score 2-0. After 23 minutes, Jorge Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patay Juniors and the istanbulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Patay Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Valiente to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdem Sonay, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Erdem Sonay came free, but Modesto Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batıray Tüzünalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Ioritz in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in istanbulls's zone, Primitivo Ioritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batıray Tüzünalp came out of the goal and Primitivo Ioritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdem Sonay in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samim Haktanır made a kick off. Gualterio Bakar hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Mert Oncel charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Modesto Rio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noël Deslandes went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Patay Juniors's Modesto Rio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Patay Juniors from getting a goal against them. Batıray Tüzünalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Ioritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Froilan Monte fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patay Juniors's protests and gave Froilan Monte a yellow card for diving instead. Modesto Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erdem Sonay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Patay Juniors's Niceto Lando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batıray Tüzünalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
