Flavio Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Varela having to interfere. Arnout Van Eycke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvaro Varela didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gondra AFC's Flavio Eli shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alvaro Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gondra AFC's Aureliano Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Pineda in the 66th minute of play. Pascual Mejias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Aureliano Xabier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alvaro Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Orland in the 73rd minute of the match. Alvaro Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Eli in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Gondra AFC booed when Altın Orda Moğolistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agur Vaarmann didn't get a good kick on the ball.
