Rufus Phipps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Bustos Montoya in the 5th minute of the match. Rufus Phipps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo-Pedro Poy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otto Grimes hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rufus Phipps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Bustos Montoya in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Otto Grimes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aldo-Pedro Poy took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rufus Phipps. Rufus Phipps dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Baxter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Peralta came free, but Rufus Phipps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo-Pedro Poy in the 30th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Rufus Phipps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo-Pedro Poy came free, but Rufus Phipps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo-Pedro Poy to make the kick off. Saturnino Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Bustos Montoya in the 53rd minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Rufus Phipps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duncan Maher during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when S.D. Rufus Phipps made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Lea Papá left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.D. Bajen.
