Juan Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baradero Futbol Club. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Arnalt made a kick off. Baradero Futbol Club's Fidel Ekain got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sarandí AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Javier Kimetz hit a great ball. Baradero Futbol Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Albano Arnalt 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 69th minute Albano Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Laurendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Juan Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Remicio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Baradero Futbol Club's David Eate managed to work through Sarandí AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. David Eate dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Nicasio Laurendi was a little too slow when Tiburcio Azibar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-3. Nicasio Laurendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Arnalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Arnalt kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Arnalt in the 91st minute of play forced Baradero Futbol Club's goalkeeper Nicasio Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Fidel Ekain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Maties was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sarandí AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Baradero Futbol Club side.
