Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dionisio Jakes made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisio Jakes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severino Estevez. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Baltasar Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Maldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Florinio came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Tornquist FC's Blas Maldonado. But to his dismay, Blas Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Tornquist FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Israel Balendin hit a great ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Dionisio Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpintería AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Jakes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tornquist FC's zone, Tadeo Lluques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Estevez came out of the goal and Tadeo Lluques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Florinio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Min in the 34th minute of the match. Severino Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Blas Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Dionisio Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Iraunkor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tornquist FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Lluques came free, but Severino Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carpintería AFC! Erasmo Min received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Florinio came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo Min slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 69th minute. Baltasar Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tornquist FC's zone, Saul Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Estevez came out of the goal and Saul Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Ivan Ixaka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpintería AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Baltasar Florinio made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rogelio Hitzeder sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Ixaka's late challenge caught a Tornquist FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Ixaka helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tornquist FC booed when Carpintería AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpintería AFC's Tadeo Lluques got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Saul Ferdinand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Estevez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. If Tadeo Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Carpintería AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
