The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wawrzyniec Bielejewski during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Abancens in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Ferran saved Bazán from getting behind. Bazán's Arturo Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Abancens in the 35th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Fabian Abancens made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bazán's Arturo Ferran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Abancens in the 43rd minute of play forced Bazán's goalkeeper Arturo Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Laureano Hermon got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Bazán's Gareth Wilson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Arturo Ferran made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Fabian Abancens sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Abancens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Ferran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Gilberto Intxixu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Abancens kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 71stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bazán's keeper Arturo Ferran was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 76th minute, Fabian Abancens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Ferran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Fabian Abancens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Ferran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Elias Clis managed to get in a good position for a shot. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Clis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Ferran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Ferran made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Fabian Abancens sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Bazán's goalkeeper Arturo Ferran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Abancens. If Domingos Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 95 in the game by Fabian Abancens from a close distance when the talented Arturo Ferran managed to make a qualified save. Bazán's players were relieved. The StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
