In the 25th minute of the match, Vidal González got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Masse was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute, Fabrice Féral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Diego Cabrera got a free kick in the 37th minute. Bruno Beugnet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasco Abadia having to make a save. Bolivia's Vasco Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Beugnet in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Desiderio Abadie hit a great ball. Bruno Beugnet might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasco Abadia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Beugnet ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Beugnet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasco Abadia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half France were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Vidal González made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Kismi Abad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. France's Baptiste Méziane was substituted for Bruno Beugnet. Kismi Abad hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Vidal González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Masse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Gelmiro Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. France's Bryan Guilmin was substituted for Mohamed Charbonnier. After having played for 64 minutes, Diego Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Cabrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baptiste Mézianes short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Vasco Abadia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Baptiste Méziane in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vasco Abadia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Baptiste Méziane who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Vasco Abadia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from Karim Zouaoui in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bolivia's Desiderio Abadie. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hugues Guillois hit a great ball. France's Hugo Masse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Abadie in the 95th minute of play. The Bolivia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching France's performance. The match ended with a win for France.
