In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Slovenia's goalkeeper Mikele Milenković, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mikele Milenković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niks Mus in the 35th minute of play. Niks Mus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 46 minutes, Mikkel Angelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Norway and the U21 Slovenia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by James Feldthaus during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute Luka Jović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ståle Nyvold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Norway's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Luka Jović scored to the left of an out of position Ståle Nyvold, making the score, 5-2.
