The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trenton Jacobson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Kristofer Peck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trenton Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trenton Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Popescu in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes University of Rochester got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Dalmu. Kirby Loomis took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Suarez. Daniel Suarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Artur Marques in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by University of Rochester's Randy Fugate. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Trenton Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernie Odell in the 37th minute of play. Kirby Loomis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Dalmu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Mei Yan Xing was substituted for Yuan Zhen Ran. 75 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Kristofer Peck came free, but Trenton Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kristofer Peck came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the University of Rochester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristofer Peck couldn't finish the play.
