The corner went over the outstretched arms of Flame Throwers's goalie and right to Kirby Loomis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Flame Throwers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bernie Mac Iver tried in the 12th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Blair McAlpin a with quite unnecessary self made goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flame Throwers's goalkeeper Blair McAlpin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rhett Camp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Trenton Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddy Crusher. EL LOBO DE MIAMI were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Flame Throwers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Balthazar Van de Schrieck took the corner. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Eric Paris was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Blair McAlpin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Trenton Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save EL LOBO DE MIAMI from getting a goal against them. Flame Throwers's Blair McAlpin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Paris in the 90th minute of play.
