Raimundo Sagaseta might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agostinho Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Sagaseta ran back to his position shaking his head. Geovânio Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Agostinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Lourense F.C.'s goalkeeper Kauan Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho de Barros. Geovânio Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Quaresma kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Geovânio Santana came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Lourense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Santana couldn't finish the play. Aricobe's Pedro Luiz Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kauan Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Agostinho Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Sagaseta in the 27th minute of the match. Raimundo Sagaseta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Galvão having to interfere. Raimundo Sagaseta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Agostinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Sagaseta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Bueno hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dênis Vasconcelos made a kick off. Raimundo Sagaseta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Agostinho Galvão made a huge save. In the 55th minute Dênis Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Santana in the 57th minute of the match. If Raimundo Sagaseta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Raimundo Sagaseta in the 71stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Agostinho Galvão had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Raimundo Sagaseta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Agostinho Galvão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Geovânio Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Arruda came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Aricobe's Chiquinho de Barros. But to his dismay, Chiquinho de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Geovânio Santana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 81 minutes of play, Lourense F.C.'s Raimundo Sagaseta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agostinho Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kauan Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Vasconcelos in the 86th minute of the match. Kauan Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho de Barros in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Sagaseta got free with Agostinho Galvão in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Lourense F.C.'s Geovânio Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agostinho Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raimundo Sagaseta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lourense F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
