After a defensive mix-up in VILLEGAS CLUB's zone, Godofredo Peruxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mederi came out of the goal and Godofredo Peruxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fazlı Onkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Mederi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Peruxu in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Fernan Vermudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VILLEGAS CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ñoquebe the free kick. Fernan Vermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Fazlı Onkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Guillermo Magdaleno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Mederi. The goal made the score 1-0. Joaquin Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Giraldo in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Peruxu made a kick off. The Ñoquebe fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Ñoquebe's Godofredo Peruxu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ñoquebe's Joaquin Karmel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ñoquebe from getting a goal against them. Fazlı Onkal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Adrio scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Mederi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fazlı Onkal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Melquiades Mederi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Peruxu in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Guillermo Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Ñoquebe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Adrio to maneuver through the defense. If Fazlı Onkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Godofredo Peruxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VILLEGAS CLUB's Melquiades Mederi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Peruxu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Mederi saved VILLEGAS CLUB from getting behind. Melquiades Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Magdaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Godofredo Peruxu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Melquiades Mederi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñoquebe. Guillermo Magdaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
