Ezequiel Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Isidro Amaya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Padro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ferré's goalkeeper Rogelio Amaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Normando. ESMERALDA F.C.'s Paulino Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Cristos in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Ferré's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Burutzagi came free, but Rogelio Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Cristos in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Adrian Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESMERALDA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Burutzagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Adrian Burutzagi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ESMERALDA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Burutzagi couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Ferré's Lucas Chago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Padro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ESMERALDA F.C.'s Paulino Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Chago in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Chago was the one to do the kick off. Paulino Padro came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ferré's Andres Cristos. But to his dismay, Andres Cristos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ferré's Rogelio Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Normando in the 56th minute of play. Leo Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ezequiel Laurin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rogelio Amaya. Ferré's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute Lucas Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Chago struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Paulino Padro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferré. In the 81st minute, one of Ferré:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferré. Rogelio Amaya went to the wrong direction when Ezequiel Laurin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 87 minutes into the match, ESMERALDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulino Padro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Cristos. Paulino Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Chago in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Burutzagi in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Amaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrado Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rogelio Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adrian Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ferré eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
