Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Poland's Gigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Poland from getting a goal against them. Rogério Gentil made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Manuel Quintas. 21 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Nunes came free, but Gigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Gustaw Petrasz made a precise shot to the right of Amado Neiva. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
