U21 Thailand's Archa Vicha got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, U21 Thailand's goal looked a bit too open when Conrad McNair came free, but Athip Charoenpol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Athip Charoenpol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Athip Charoenpol came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Canada's Indiana Jones. But to his dismay, Indiana Jones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 35th minute, Samak Methmanus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Hobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goalkeeper Octavio Hobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kittisak Jamparueng. After 39 minutes, Archa Vicha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Thailand and the U21 Canada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Athip Charoenpol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royal Pain in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of U21 Canada booed when U21 Thailand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phongthanet Kaewprapan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes of play U21 Canada's Sean Camp was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, U21 Canada's Sean Camp got a free kick in the 59th minute. Kittisak Jamparueng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Hobson having to interfere. Archa Vicha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Hobson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Traiphob Yati came free, but Octavio Hobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Indiana Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of U21 Canada booed when U21 Thailand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sunee Masam didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 Canada's Cortez McCann got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over U21 Canada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Thailand throughout the match.
