The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaw Petrasz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bogdan Bijedić. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaw Petrasz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Bijedić saved Bosnia And Hercegovina from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Bijedić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustaw Petrasz took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Bijedić. Bogdan Bijedić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Poland had won after a very even match.
