Vasco Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eiríkur Baldursson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. But to his dismay, Diego Cabrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Björgólfur Rúnarsson in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vasco Abadia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vasco Abadia made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Eiríkur Baldursson sent off a good shot on target. Iceland's Beinir Jónsson was substituted for Hjálmar Barðason. Bolivia made a substitution. Eduardo Villegas replaced Ricardo Fontana. Bolivia made a substitution. Frutos Abellaneda replaced Fernando Martelli. Vasco Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beinir Jónsson in the 84th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Iceland's Björgólfur Rúnarsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vasco Abadia. Vasco Abadia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
