In the 92nd minute Marcos Melendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kepa Arrizabalaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Binah Hoss got free with Alisson González in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kepa Arrizabalaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Israel played a much better game than U21 Guatemala and deserved their victory. The U21 Guatemala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
