In the 7th minute, U21 Italy's Dario Corrente ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Archil Levidze. Archil Levidze yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Archil Levidze was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aloísio Lima showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 12th match minute, U21 Georgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sese Podolyakin to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio Mazzei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Archil Levidze made a huge save. Archil Levidze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Archil Levidze stood somewhat misplaced when Aloísio Lima came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Aloísio Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Archil Levidze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camillo Caiola in the 22nd minute. Merdan Abesadze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigi Proietti having to make a save. In the 31st minute, Aloísio Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 34th match minute, U21 Georgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eldar Urushadze to maneuver through the defense. U21 Georgia's Archil Levidze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Georgia from getting a goal against them. When Ennio Cavaliere fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Italy's protests and gave Ennio Cavaliere a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Ennio Cavaliere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giorgi Kutsia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The U21 Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Aloísio Lima scored 9-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Archil Levidze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the match, U21 Georgia's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Caiola came free, but Archil Levidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merdan Abesadze got free with Gigi Proietti in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dario Corrente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Archil Levidze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. U21 Italy made a substitution. Alfonso Del Gatto replaced Dario Corrente. Archil Levidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Del Gatto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Camillo Caiola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. After 81 played minutes U21 Italy got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Bontempi. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anzor Beroshvili the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of U21 Georgia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anzor Beroshvili had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 84 minutes into the game, one of U21 Georgia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave U21 Italy a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ennio Cavaliere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of U21 Georgia's Archil Levidze. 11-0. After 89 played minutes U21 Italy got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Caiola. In the 90th match minute, U21 Georgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sese Podolyakin to maneuver through the defense. Archil Levidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Lima in the 91st minute of the match. Archil Levidze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Caiola in the 92nd minute of play. When U21 Italy's Aloísio Lima in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Georgia's goalie prevented a goal. Archil Levidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Del Gatto in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U21 Italy had played much better football throughout.
