Spectators: 10301 (Terracing: 7726, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Iwan Bronicki started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 minutes U21 Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Krystian Bielik who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Krystian Bielik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dyllen Cuppens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dyllen Cuppens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Dyczkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dyllen Cuppens came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Korneliusz Dyczkowski. But to his dismay, Korneliusz Dyczkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 21st minute, Maxim De Cuyper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Cyprian Zagrodny got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fryderyk Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim De Cuyper, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute Maxim De Cuyper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Bronicki got free with Dyllen Cuppens in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fryderyk Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Pirlo in the 29th minute of play. Karel Van Engelen made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Izak Bormans. In the 32nd minute, Iwan Bronicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Maxim De Cuyper ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fryderyk Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The corner ended in Baltazar Bomba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U21 Belgium's Dyllen Cuppens did a great save. Dyllen Cuppens made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Korneliusz Dyczkowski sent off a good shot on target. Dyllen Cuppens didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1.

U21 Belgium made a substitution. Mamoun Boamah replaced Maxim De Cuyper. U21 Belgium's Cris Deprez was substituted for Orval Drinkwater. If Luigi Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fryderyk Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luigi Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Dyllen Cuppens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Dyczkowski in the 59th minute of the match. U21 Poland's Jakub Zworski was substituted for Dariusz Cerocki. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Poland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Timmy Simons was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Belgium's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Timmy Simons got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fryderyk Glogowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luigi Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fryderyk Glogowski having to make a save. Luigi Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dyllen Cuppens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krystian Bielik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Iwan Bronicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Luigi Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fryderyk Glogowski having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Poland.
