Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peppe Mascara started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Kara Mella dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aureliusz Marosz, 1-0. Aureliusz Marosz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Peppe Mascara sent off a good shot on target. Kara Mella had several of the U21 Poland's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Aureliusz Marosz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Peppe Mascara came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aureliusz Marosz could save by the left post. 16 minutes into the game, Kara Mella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Aureliusz Marosz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peppe Mascara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aureliusz Marosz came out and tried to block the shot, but Peppe Mascara slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Dominik Majewski sped through U21 Italy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermanno Pardini. When Ferdinando Di Berardino fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Italy's protests and gave Ferdinando Di Berardino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to U21 Italy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ferdinando Di Berardino hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Dominik Majewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Pardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliusz Marosz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kara Mella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Majewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Pardini having to interfere. Napoleon Pryla charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Napoleon Pryla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aureliusz Marosz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Peppe Mascara sent off a good shot on target. Peppe Mascara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aureliusz Marosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominik Majewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Ermanno Pardini made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dominik Majewski sent off a good shot on target. Aureliusz Marosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Molinario in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of U21 Italy booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Mochadlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Izydor Mochadlo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Aureliusz Marosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kara Mella in the 72nd minute of play. Izydor Mochadlo's late challenge caught a U21 Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Izydor Mochadlo helped the player get up and apologised. Piotr Kaczorowski kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Talamo came free, but Aureliusz Marosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, U21 Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Degutis came free, but Ermanno Pardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Italy's Ermanno Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Majewski in the 87th minute of play. After 91 played minutes, U21 Poland's Korneliusz Dyczkowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermanno Pardini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Poland reached it. Aureliusz Marosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Talamo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the U21 Italy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
