Seating: 3317, VIP seats: 288) Jimmy Påk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kuwait's Haider Al Nasser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Bammerman in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes Kuwait's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvald Bammerman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Sweden's Jimmy Påk to a score. 0-1 in the 7th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Johan Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sweden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Lundqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kuwait's zone, Sakarias Stål stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haider Al Nasser came out of the goal and Sakarias Stål tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Johan Lundqvist put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Haider Al Nasser. The audience was convinced that Johan Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haider Al Nasser was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Johan Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haider Al Nasser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Lundqvist in the 22nd minute of the match. Ronny Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fadhel Al Saffar in the 24th minute. The supporters of Sweden booed when Kuwait was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haitham Jiragh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fadhel Al Saffar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Lundqvist in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haider Al Nasser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Johan Lundqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haider Al Nasser was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Haider Al Nasser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johan Lundqvist's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Johan Lundqvist scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haider Al Nasser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fadhel Al Saffar during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Kuwait was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadhel Al Saffar to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Haider Al Nasser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Kuwait got a freekick which was hit by Fadhel Al Saffar. Sweden made a substitution. Zlatan Svensson replaced Vidar Kjartansson. Fadhel Al Saffar kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Immobile to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Lundqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Haider Al Nasser skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sweden made a substitution. Arvid Hult replaced Jimmy Påk. In the 66th minute, Johan Lundqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haider Al Nasser was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Johan Lundqvist put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Haider Al Nasser. Haider Al Nasser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johan Lundqvist's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Haider Al Nasser stood somewhat misplaced when Johan Lundqvist came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 75 minute. The Sweden fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Sweden's Johan Lundqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Haider Al Nasser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Svensson in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Johan Lundqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haider Al Nasser. Kuwait's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Lundqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. When %teams%'s Johan Lundqvist was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-13 just inside the left pole, 89 minutes into the game. Haider Al Nasser was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Zlatan Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Lundqvist in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haider Al Nasser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Johan Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haider Al Nasser was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Andreas Käller kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Kuwait fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sweden were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
