Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beltxe Gaviria kicked off to start the match. Peru were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Austria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacobo Avellaneda took the corner. Beltxe Gaviria took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lütfi Özer. Lütfi Özer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Beltxe Gaviria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Özer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Zubeldia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Krölls in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Lütfi Özer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Beltxe Gaviria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Beltxe Gaviria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfi Özer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermann Nagel got free with Agostinho Zubeldia in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beltxe Gaviria scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lütfi Özer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lütfi Özer came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Beltxe Gaviria. But to his dismay, Beltxe Gaviria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Agostinho Zubeldia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Kuntz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the game, David Kuntz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Agostinho Zubeldia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Austria's Lütfi Özer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beltxe Gaviria in the 33rd minute of play. Lütfi Özer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beltxe Gaviria's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Kai Aufhauser made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Jacobo Avellaneda. Agostinho Zubeldia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel-Benjamin Lupzig in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Beltxe Gaviria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lütfi Özer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Aufhauser to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jacobo Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfi Özer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

51 minutes into the game, Hermann Nagel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Agostinho Zubeldia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Peru's Amaya Maira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lütfi Özer. Lütfi Özer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amaya Maira went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Austria made a substitution. Max Schulten replaced Kevin Krölls. Agostinho Zubeldia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel-Benjamin Lupzig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute of the match Austria got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Volli Baller ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Beltxe Gaviria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lütfi Özer came out of the goal and Beltxe Gaviria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's Belarmo Villaquiran was substituted for Beltxe Gaviria. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Lütfi Özer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Mäe came free, but Agostinho Zubeldia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belarmo Villaquiran in the 83rd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Lütfi Özer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lütfi Özer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belarmo Villaquiran went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
