Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Waclaw Domaradzki took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Waclaw Domaradzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziro But came out of the goal and Waclaw Domaradzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephane Pfäffli in the 14th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Stefan Cwenar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Waclaw Domaradzki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ziro But. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 33rd minute Stephane Pfäffli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Cwenar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Cwenar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephane Pfäffli in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waclaw Domaradzki got free with Ziro But in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Poland getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Zbyszek Kilarski hit a great ball.
