Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Endel Karuse got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, U21 Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Endel Karuse came free, but Costin Seremet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Albulescu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalmer Vollmer in the 5th minute of play forced U21 Romania's goalkeeper Costin Seremet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvo Lipping took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petruț Bogătan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Estonia's Arvo Lipping played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Butuc in the 8th minute of play. Costin Seremet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endel Karuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Endel Karuse in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Seremet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Endel Karuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Seremet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalmer Vollmer scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costin Seremet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arvo Lipping made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Bogătan in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of U21 Romania booed when U21 Estonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Mardipoeg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Endel Karuse in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costin Seremet saved U21 Romania from getting behind. Arvo Lipping made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cezar Dobrica sent off a good shot on target. Endel Karuse charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Endel Karuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, U21 Estonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endel Karuse to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the U21 Romania defense, Kunnar Elken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costin Seremet. The U21 Romania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Seremet should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Petruț Bogătan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eevald Oha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The U21 Romania players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U21 Estonia were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petruț Bogătan was the one to do the kick off. Cezar Dobrica kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. U21 Estonia's Arvo Lipping played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Dobrica in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, U21 Estonia's Eevald Oha made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costin Seremet was left in no man's land by his defense there! U21 Estonia's Toivo Vooremäe was substituted for Oka Roos. 67 minutes into the match, U21 Romania's goalkeeper Costin Seremet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eevald Oha. Arvo Lipping showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Dobrica in the 68th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, U21 Romania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Butuc to maneuver through the defense. U21 Romania made a substitution. Nicu Beniuc replaced Albert Ciocâltea. U21 Romania's Valentin Mihădaș was substituted for Petruț Bogătan. In the 70th minute, Toader Butuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvo Lipping came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Romania's Toader Butuc. But to his dismay, Toader Butuc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Valentin Mihădaș scored 2-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvo Lipping, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endel Karuse in the 81st minute of play forced U21 Romania's goalkeeper Costin Seremet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Romania's Costin Seremet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hugo Hugosson in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Endel Karuse took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Costin Seremet to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Estonia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
