The referee ignored Argentina's protests and gave Ramiro Funes Mori a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Argentina got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Funes Mori. Argentina's Armando Gauargi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Argentina from getting a goal against them. Armando Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gmariah Gearan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If 龙铮铮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Eate scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fu Kang Feng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Isidoro Eate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fu Kang Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fu Kang Feng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Eate took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fu Kang Feng. Fu Kang Feng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fu Kang Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. China's Fu Kang Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Eate in the 30th minute of play. Armando Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gmariah Gearan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Fu Kang Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mosen in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Hernandez in the 36th minute of play forced China's goalkeeper Fu Kang Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulgencio Hernandez in the 37th minute. Ramiro Funes Mori made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Patricio Herrera immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Eate in the 44th minute of play forced China's goalkeeper Fu Kang Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 韩誉骋 in the 47th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Armando Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Argentina were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Isidoro Eate reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fu Kang Feng. The goal made the score 0-3. Fu Kang Feng made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Ignacio Mosen sent off a good shot on target. Argentina's Isaias Diaz was substituted for Fulgencio Hernandez. Argentina's Baldomiro Tab was substituted for Patricio Herrera. Argentina's Jorge Bilintx was substituted for Isidoro Eate. Jorge Bilintx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fu Kang Feng having to make a save. Fu Kang Feng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Bilintx's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Armando Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gmariah Gearan in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Argentina's Jorge Bilintx slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fu Kang Feng. That made the score 0-6 after 74 minutes of play. Armando Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gmariah Gearan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Gmariah Gearan came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the China fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gmariah Gearan couldn't finish the play. China made a substitution. 周博迪 replaced Wu Ang Kun. Armando Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gmariah Gearan in the 84th minute of play. Armando Gauargi came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by China's Gmariah Gearan. But to his dismay, Gmariah Gearan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 96 minutes into the match, China's goalkeeper Fu Kang Feng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Bilintx. Argentina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
