Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pedro Manuel Macchiavello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Gardel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Waddah Abdul Khaliq came free, but Ernesto Marchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, U21 Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calixto Reinoso to maneuver through the defense. Wakil Ahsan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Higuera in the 73rd minute of play. Ernesto Marchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naem Abdul Tawwab, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jibril Ghazwan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. U21 Chile's Sid Vicioso got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Jihad Fawaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Sid Vicioso in the 96th minute really tested Wakil Ahsan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. U21 Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
