Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Odilon Baxter made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odilon Baxter in the 8th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxence Dubief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Tony Prime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Frederick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Canada's Myles Chesnay got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yassine Benzia in the 14th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Enrique Frederick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxence Dubief stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Odilon Baxter's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 19 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Tony Prime. Maxence Dubief showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Canada's Enrique Frederick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philibert Barberet in the 22nd minute of play. Enrique Frederick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yassine Benzia in the 24th minute of play. Enrique Frederick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yassine Benzia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philibert Barberet in the 28th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Enrique Frederick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Frederick came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Philibert Barberet. But to his dismay, Philibert Barberet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of France booed when Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Connelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. France's Maxence Dubief played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odilon Baxter in the 36th minute of play. From a short distance, Canada's Odilon Baxter, in the 36th minute, tried to place the ball behind Maxence Dubief, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Maxence Dubief had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Odilon Baxter from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 38 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Yassine Benzia came free, but Enrique Frederick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Danny Charroin hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Odilon Baxter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxence Dubief. The goal made the score 1-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony Prime to make the kick off. Tony Prime in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrique Frederick, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 58 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Pays who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on France's corner Omar Pays fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Frederick quite easily take care of the ball. Canada's Enrique Frederick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. Enrique Frederick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Prime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Canada's Enrique Frederick got control of the ball when Laurent Léger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Odilon Baxter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Maxence Dubief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canada's Léopold Bell was substituted for Odilon Baxter. Désiré Frangeul kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Léopold Bell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Léopold Bell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxence Dubief saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dele Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Frederick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanguy Delebarre in the 85th minute of the match. When Canada's Léopold Bell in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. France made a substitution. Olivier Atton replaced Tony Prime.
