I agree! Too many one touch passes - not realistic. No flow to game, the ball could go anywhere. Forwards pass inside penalty area instead of shooting and shoot from distance when it would be better running in on goal.The old sim was better. It just needed wingers and goalkeepers fixed. My team has also went backwards. I've just lost 9:0 at home to a team I only lost 5:0 to away two weeks ago (Team values were both similar). Bring back the old sim.

Goals are not being scored from close range; most of them are from long distance; goalkeepers are taking large advantage over strikers even when these have good inteligence and shooting - it seems some balance is needed: (much) more goals from short distance, and less goals from long distance;
Moving and ball carrying from players are too rare, meanwhile ball passing is too privileged. Number of passes, mostly one-touched ones, increased heavily - the matches are looking like an annoying pinball game;
The pressing tactic seems to be always in "committed" mode, even when the pressing tactic is "normal" or "passive"; defenders seems not keeping their positions, causing big "holes" in defence;
Strikers in front of the goal, unmarked, prefer to pass the ball (often backwards) than going towards goal and kicking, despite being reasonably intelligent;
It seems to me that passing and keeping are prevailing over the other player attributes, and play intelligence isn't being used now...

ok, today my central striker had most passes of my team. what is it? why? wingers are totally unproductive. I watch the games on 2d and exept constant and pointless passing it is totally chaos... few more matches like this and i'm heading out...

Today my two strikers (8 and 9 balls in shooting) prefer to make passes between them rather than shooting at goal.
I think this kind of games are for the average player which is majority, if average player is disappointed then the game is at risk of losing its appeal.

we have just a bunch of low performarce barcelonas with this SIM, passing, passing, passing, and after 10 min of passing the striker is in front of the keeper and shoots...NOT!! he passes back, and we start over just passing. So boring.

- pass back
- pass to the side
- shoots out of the stadium
- ahh sometimes, very few, he will actually have a good shot
this SIM is not balanced, and so, its a Fail

This would never happend with the old simulators. Current SIM is an offence to the minimal common sense. Because of these ERRORS you can lose a championship, or a cup qualification, along with the whole season hard work.
I have at least 20 more examples like this
The new managerzone LOTTERY simulator is simply an offence to common sense and simple logic.

drdoom - 24-10-2011 22:10i totally agree with the above...defenders seem to be totally redundant in the new sim..rarely getting a decent tackling in and the one-touch passing is really over the top...the strikers seem m ore intent on back passing in a good position rather than hitting at goal..the old sim was much, much more realistic and watching a game in 3D was enjoyable...now it is difficult to last a whole game.
Also I've noticed an even more serious glitch than the above. I can report at least two matches were the opposing team did not field 11 players on pitch and the match was played to the detriment of the opposing team!!! incredible!
Second glitch - the suspensions from the previous season seem to have been carried forward to this season. ...as a result I lost my key striker in the first league game...losing 3 point which will probably prove very crucial in the season later....but this is a minor glitch compared to the ones above....please sort this mess out asap or else we are really going to lose several users here...the new sim really puts the hard work we have invested to build strong sides to waste!! Hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears.

patocuesta - 24-10-2011 23:56In the options is missing one more, you have SHORT PASSING (Pinball crap) Long Passing ( US Soccer) Use Wings (Brazil) and you are missing the option Football, which is what all the people want to see and play, admit that you made mistakes, start from 0, go back to the past simulator, and you will have my respect, too many people is playing and has payed this game to be treated like this. Shame on mz

i dont feel the need to crap on mz. the crew are trying to improve the game. you cant build an argument that will be heard well by whining.
that said, my last cup game i passed 205 times... this was done, mind you with long passing.. some things are seriously out of whack currently. i wont leave mz over it, but it does make the game's tactical nuances seem erratic..

Passing has become rediculous eg
1: strikers passing when in ideal situations to score WHY PASS BACK TO MIDFIELD ????
2: defender passing across goal to a teamate who has 2 opposition players on him who then disposes him and score WTF???
3: Tactics are non exsitant 3 games 3 different tactics same result PASSING and terrible passing at that I do not have a player in my team with less than 7 passing attributes NONE but the passing they are doing is garbage.
4: Tackling has become non exsistant .
5: Time is runnig out

I agree ... the strikers give ball to keepers hands, your midfielders do suicide back-passing (never to free players), players don't control the ball if it's coming fast even when the ball come right to the foot, defenders (tackling = 8, 9, 10) stand static and watching the opponent striker go, your strikers prefer back pass better to shoot with no defenses near, watching the game is like seasick sometimes because fast pointless passing (like if the ball is burning), watching games is like a nightmare even if you win.
I dont think problems with previous sim has been fixed, even they seem worst now...
Many of us wonder whats going on here? we do love this game. Take advice from a profesional player, because there is a impression that programers are very good, but they never played a real football match in their lives. Thanks

This is a forum to state your discrepancies about the simulator which the crew doesn't read anyways. If you look at the title post, maybe you missed something, officer? Don't pick someone out of the crowd and make an example out of it, that's just unprofessional. The problem is that I wrote several messages to MZ crew regarding to all problems that we have with the new SIM and nobody answer one of them, or, give us some information about if they are thinking in to fix it or if they are happy with the result of their job.

let us be fair to the new simulator and to the Mz crew, what they have done with the new Sim is improve the players movement and added a wing tactic. I thank them for that.
however the bad includes the change in a strikers mentality which makes them make back passes in one and one situations
2. they have made all Gk gods, allowing them to save 90% of one on one chances, which we all know in real life will and could never happen.
3. they have removed tackling for the defenders and have them instead look to intercept passes and read the game more. however the bad tackling now gives away too much penalties ( needs to be changed)
4.pinball!!!!!! the way these players pass the ball is completely robotic, players need to control the ball and then pass it, no need for one touch, not even Barcelona is that good.
5 short passing tactics completely abolished, why???
overall i like the changes but i think these changes should have just been an update to the old Sim instead of a complete change, defenders should tackle as well as read, Gk should get beat in 30% of one on one chances. strikers to stop playing back passes and shoot on sight of goal.
Lets all note that it is totally stupid to think the crew can change the sim midway the season so lets all just wait till seasons end to decide if we should quit the game
