Hi,
My statement maybe seem a bit crazy but i honestly believe we have to many passes in the alphatest. I can illustrate it with observed scenarios from my test games:
A: I have three guys alone with opponents GK and they keep on passing the ball around until the chance has missed
B: To many passes combined with heading also give some odd situations with 6 heading passes in a row
C: Both sides now have a lot of shots at goal but scoring lesser goals and the matches are extremely even which results in a deadlock in results. Meaning, it is very very often: 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 2-1 etc etc
D: I believe that matches now suffers a bit caused by the many firsttime passes
On the positive side:
A+: it is very nice to see the goalkeeper having an intelligence after all
B+: The passes are more accurate
C+: Still some "stupid" passes but the players seems to have more intelligence playing football
D+: Shots at goal are from "more logic" positions
Questions:
1: All of these shots at goal and first times passes - how do they inflict a players technique skill? They do not "run with the ball" so much anymore I think...
2: Could ranking (matchform) give an advantage when meeting an equal or better opponent to avoid having to many even results?
