Today Barça defeated Atletico de Madrid by 5-0 ! . What a show...the defenders of Atletico looked like cones...and Messi dribbling around them like in his backyard... Messi got a hat trick #11 since he is in Barça, he definitely is not human...is truly unbelievable the 4th goal (his 2nd today) was amazing...His acceleration is unbelievable and how he can keep that ball so close to his left foot , running at full speed. But besides him the whole team looks great. Pep can even play with 3 defenders in the back , 3-4-3. The midfield has so much talent. Today Xavi played awesome as well as Thiago. Cesc Fabrega has been a great addition to the team and already has formed a fantastic duo with Messi . These two played together since they were 12!... It is amazing that even having the starting defenders out Pep managed to create a real good defense regardless making a great defender of Mascherano. In any case the good news Pique is coming back (he played a bit today) and Pujol . Go Barça Go... Go Lio Go!!Today Barça defeated Atletico de Madrid by 5-0 ! . Go BARÇA GO! great win today against Real Madrid. What a joy to see CR7 chocking hahaha....who they want to convince saying that C.Ronaldo is better than Messi...no comparison. Today's best player was Iniesta in particular in the second half and Pujol played great. I liked a lot Alexis Sanchez and he scored a great goal from a great Messi's play. I like Alexis a lot better than Villa .. Cry Mou Cry...now he blames Bad Luck and the fact that Messi didn't see the second yellow...Go BARÇA GO! great win today against Real Madrid. Benfica coach was furious today. They lost to Chelsea due to the horrible refeering. "We were playing against chelsea and the referee". A penalty and a red card. Funny if it was Barcelona in place of Chelsea the English press would have made a huge deal out of it just like they did few years ago. Benfica were hard done by.Benfica coach was furious today. Whatever works. Im not against that style of football really, if it works for them then so be it. We were just unlucky tonight. Hit the post twice, Cech made some good saves and we just wasted one too many chances. Chelsea defended very well in 2009 but this time we opened them up time and again. Never really been convinced by Barca's away performances in the knockout stages so i wasn't expecting too much really but we are a different team at home. Im happy with a 0-1loss. We can turn this around at Camp Nou, hopefully...Whatever works. Im not against that style of football really, if it works for them then so be it. We were just unlucky tonight. disappointing day.24 to1 shot n we still lose. reminds me of MZ:) away has been poor this season ,so confident we will sail through to finals. but if Chelsea score an early goal wld be big trouble for us considering the luck they are having.disappointing day.24 to1 shot n we still lose.

Yea if Chelsea score then we are probably out. Looking at how lucky Chelsea have been this season i would not be surprised at anything. They beat Wigan by 2 offside goals, Roberto Martinez, one of the nicest guys and a real gentleman was furious after the defeat. They beat Benfica despite being outplayed. There were many suspicious calls. A penalty and a red card to Benfica and a blatant hand ball by John Terry not given. Benfica even said they would lodge a complaint. Against Tottenham Mata's goal did not even cross the line and Spurs could have had a penalty and Cech sent off. Im not complaining against Chelsea. Just pointing out how some of their fans have double standards. When we knocked them out in 2009 they called us all sorts of names -cheaters, divers, we paid UEFA, even suggested UNICEF had a hand, just disgusting to use UNICEF's name like that. Imagine if Busquets had rolled around as much as Drogba last night. We would never hear the end of it. I respect their club but some of their fans i will forever hate. Im not complaining against Chelsea. Just pointing out how some of their fans have double standards. Congratulations to Real Madrid on winning the title. They have been more consistent than us this season and deserve the title. We dropped too many points where we shouldn't have. The biggest problem this season we had is that there have been no consistent goal scorer apart from Messi. In the past we always had two other strikers around the 20 goals mark. Sanchez and Pedro struggled with injuries and inconsistency in scoring while Villa has been out for the half of season. We have missed David Villa big time in crunch moments like these. I cannot help but think back to the first classico this season when we were still yet to reach peak and Real Madrid completely dominated us in the first half. All it took was a moment, a splendid counter attack, Messi finds Villa and he scores from a tight angle from about 30 yards and we were ahead despite being second best. It saddens me to think Villa might not have wasted that many chances against Chelsea and Real. I feel very sorry especially for our little magician from Argentina. Despite having a great season scoring 60 plus goals and many assists he might end up without any major trophy. Lets hope we can salvage the Champions League trophy. Congratulations to Chelsea for giving us a lesson in finishing. We can have no complaints. They deserved to go through. I hope they can win the tournament now. I am a true to heart Barca Fan Congrats to Messi for breaking the scoring record for a player in a season, and congrats to Real Madrid for winning la liga. Indeed powersoccer1. Congrats to Messi for winning the Phichichi award. We will be back stronger next season. I hope we sign Javi Martinez, he would be perfect for us.
