  • Additional Notes:
  • These guides are valid for any country,
  • These guides are also valid for MZ Hockey,
  • Those in Div7 or lower should refer to this guide: http://mzplus.com.ar/stadium
  • Though Clinics are recommended keep in mind that they do not give you any financial advantage,
  • The bracketed numbers in the "Facilities" section are only recommended for those that can afford it, for example 3 Hotels in Div 6 will suffice but you can still get a little more profit with 4 Hotels,
  • mosmosmos wrote:

Good idea. Stops users asking the same questions.

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
why is there a number in brackets beside some of them? eg hotel 3 (4)

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
i think the reason for this is that the guy who has done these calculations has used capacity numbers that are not rounded off such as 8180 instead of 8100, he has been very precise with his capacity numbers, i am assuming that the lesser numbers not in brackets are from a previous calculation of a rounded off number on capacity, he has added extra to the capacity hence adding slightly extra to the facilities, this is my assumption on the subject..

hi , i found a club in div 6 with a nice stadium, maybe if you check out his club and stadium and then say hello and ask him nicely via his GB, he may help you,
to find his league, i looked at your club and then clicked on LAST SEASONS PLAY OFFS , i think it was on your league page, anyhow if you find a club in div 6.25 just hit on either the number 6.25 or the team name,
i hope this will help you..

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
    Is the clinic worth building?
Dont think u get any money out of it do u??

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
you dont get any money out of it, it helps to heal an injured player quicker, if your an established team playing in high level competitions then i suppose it would be a must, otherwise just handy if you can afford it, if you have money to biuld elsewhere then maybe more of a priority to get income related biulding done, i dont have a clinic yet , i am still biulding elsewhere..

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
you dont have a clinic yet? did u sell your stadium when you started playing?

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
i dont have a clinic and dont plan on buying one. id prefer to just keep depth to the team and accept injuries as they come. occassionally i get slammed with a 15 day injury (twice) but otherwise i dont see the importance of paying thousands weekly to avoid long times out of play. at least with deep benches you can sell the players for fiscal gains..

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
Well, you have many subs and reserve that are nearly as good as your starters. But waiting for your injuries just means you cant play some matches to your full potenial.

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
@fva2121 i think its worth it to have a clinic as it allows player to heal faster as said and for the cash issue, dont you think its better to sell some of those players and start a clinic i bet you will be able to save...

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
i have not had an injury for longer than 3 days for a very long time, so feel i would have wasted money building a clinic, also , i have players that i feel i can rely on to fill in for injuries, so again, like fva says, it does not seem a neccessary investment to buy something you hardly use and im not sure what impact it has on your running costs, and as for selling the players, the reserves are younger generation waiting to move into the first team, i would consider selling the older ones prior to retirement, rather than selling a younger player with promise,i would much rather sell to build a hotel for example, a clinic seems to be low priority to me..

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
Unfortunatly, some of my players are injury prone :(

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
thank you for the info, just starting and in div 6 is it advisable to aim for Div 5 figures?

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
there are some div 6 settings in the middle of this page, just aim for them for now, there is not a great deal of difference, you may get an automatic promotion due to league compacting, you could even end up in div 4, but best to just wait and see what happens, the only settings you need to adjust straight away would be your capacity settings, aim to invest in hot dogs stalls and souvenir shops first, there is info on stadium and investing on www.mentaldog.com .
one more point, if you can afford to get a hotel, only invest in one hotel in the long term, it has been pointed out that having more than one hotel is not very beneficial when you weigh up cost of build to amount of return, and the amount of time it would take to get your money back.. maybe in the longer term , if you are rolling in money, you could have the full stadium invested, for the time being, you should get used to your income running smoothly against your overheads, and make sure you seek out and go down all avenues to get income, eg , x2 friendly home games per week, you will get tips on income from mentaldog, or browsing back on the Q n A archive, which is at the bottom of the Q n A opening page..
    good luck..

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
Fair point from Mos, also on clinics I have had 90 day injuries in the past, and when you are a small club relying on a couple of players that is a season gone. So I would build a clinic early on.

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
I think stadiums should go up to 100.000 Seats. And maybe there should be the ability to give them a personal "touch". Otherwise would the stadium customization be boring -.-

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
is this valid for hockey aswell or just football?

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
i have never played hockey , i cant give you an answer, but there is a hockey forum, with a hockey Q n A, click on forum. then look left and hit on hockey forum , third down, you will see Q n A in the forum menu..post a question on there..

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
@sabonnel Yes it is valid with hockey. Just don't build a clinic as you don't get injuries in hockey (yet).

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
    why isnt this sticky?

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
so how much profit does one gain from increasing the facilities as a 4th division team and the stadium capacity?

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
it is vital to have your stadium running to spec, particularly your capacity, the revenue helps you to keep your club financially secure on a weekly basis, you have to show profit at the end of each week, if you do not show profit on five consecutive weeks , you go bankrupt, rather than looking what is in it for you in the short term, you should be looking at continuosly trying to build up your stadium to the right spec, then if you get promoted, and you require better players with higher salaries, you have your stadium just about ready to support you,
you should look at your capacity settings for div 4, at the moment you are biulding 1500 terracing i believe, and this will give you too many, you need to get the required vip seats, and set your seating and terracing to look as below, then you can start biulding up on the required amount of hot dog and souvenir shops, then add on fast food , pub etc , when you can afford it.here is your capacity settings..
    Capacity
    Total 7886 stadium
    5915 Grandstand
    1814 stalls
    157 VIP

    Re: stadium guide

when you demolish seating or terracing , by reducing the amount, you get money refunded..

I don't think that'll change much, this is a pretty clear format.

There used to be a real calculator. Haven't been in the game for about two years but it used to come in handy

    Re: stadium guide

Look in mz talk, useful unofficial sites

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
Given that building a stadium beyond what it states for the first division is a waste of resources and a drain on the budget. Maybe this is an area of the game that could in the future be looked at for improvement, as being able to build a larger stadium makes no sense if it will never be used or pay its way.

    Re: stadium guide

I landed in 9th division, any ideas about a stadium for that division?

    Re: stadium guide

Check the other user's attendance at home games. That should be a guide for that division. Also the attendance of div. 8 if there is hope of promotion.

I'd probably just build straight to Division 5 or 6 for that. At least with the capacity, hot dog stands and souvenir stores

    Re: stadium guide

    Badge image
mmm , you may be over looking the fact of how competitive it may be in the lower leagues in Argentina, mos,i told chechip he could easily end up in div 7 soon, and i gave him a capacity setting , based on his capacity of 7000, and some hot dogs and shops to aim for to start him off..

    Re: stadium guide

Wow looking at this reminds me I need to fix my stadium because I have money lying all over the place!!! :S

    Re: stadium guide

Guys, can someone tell me, are the ticket prices fixed? If not where do I adjust them?

    Thanks

    Re: stadium guide

Ticket prices are fixed rates set by MZ. Ticket income increases with increased attendance only.

    Re: stadium guide

more than a year ago i have been personally studying div1 stadium capacities and facilities based on home attendance for several div1 seasons (higher and lower placed guests tend to vary the attendance). this was my finding: 9305/6980/2140/185 which is very different to the one found here:
    http://enwiki.managerzone.com/index.php?title=Stadium_income_and_expenses

on the other hand i did have no will to calculate facilities, so i just believe the above mentioned link is correct for div1:

    restaurant (12) 11,7
    hotdog stand (24) 23,3
    fast food outlet (15) 15,0
    pub (11) 11,0
    souvenir shop (11) 11,1
    clinic (1) 1,0
    hotel (4) 4,1
