Barça 4 - Racing de Santander 0

Goals: Iniesta, Henry, Marquez, Thiago

The second half was not necessary the game was over in the first half.
Best players for me : Iniesta (he is really good) and Bojan.

Double post: Ibra ties the match!!!

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

I haven't watch the game . I've read they didn't play good. They are being criticized perhaps way too much by the press. They expect them to be a perfect working machine all the time...and that is impossible. Even playing bad they won the last two league games.

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

I just listened to it in the radio. My bro saw it, he claims that, given the way they had played, we have to be thankful because Barcelona tied...

My god, how many balls does Cacau have? 10 in speed?! :O He ran through the entire defence of Barca. And they've allways was 4 players during the offensive attack! Holy crap...

Messi had a great shot too but it was nothing compared to Zlatans. Even if he hit the GK, he did scored after his other shot :-) Intressting was that Suttgart did 4 fouls by touching the ball with the hand in their penaltyarea - and nothing happend! >:(

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

finally 2-2, not a bad result if RMadrid keeps losing.

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

Badge image
Yes it was not a bad result considering that we lost Ibra to a red and we were losing 1-2. San Messi saved us once again.

Unfortunately Real Madrid came from behind from a 0-2 and ended up winning 3-2 . So La Liga is going to be more than interesting...

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

Badge image
Yep, both are tied with 62 (Madrid and Barcelona), and still "El Clásico" to be played in Santiago Bernabéu. Next Sunday Real Madrid visits my home town, Valladolid, to play against Real Valladolid. Ideal situation would be Madrid losing here (last season o or the previous, not sure, Valladolid won 1-0), but right now I'll be happy if we don't get more than 0-4.

Let's see what happens next 17th March: Barça-Sttutgart. One prediction can be made (a safe bet): whatever happens in the match, I'll be drunk afterwards LOLZ.

One thing that makes me REAL sad, is that players like Messi, Iniesta and Xavi don't play the ball to Zlatan. And now he will (probably) leave because of this! Why do they have to be such egoists?!?

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2885/europe/2010/03/19/1839634/barcelona-striker-zlatan-ibrahimovic-sad-and-disappointed

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

@sellcius

man...what are you talking about? Egoists in Barça? It just doesn't make sense is the example of a team and they are hitting in all cylinders right now with a Messi more inspired than ever.

I guess you are disappointed because Ibra is from your country...but the reality is that Barça is playing awesome and Messi is demonstrating day in and day out that he is the best player in the world...

To be honest the last two games with Henry and Messi was a perfect mix . Henry doesn't get disappointed if he doesn't score. Xabi and Iniesta the same ...they all get happy for the team if Messi scores...It is as simple as that....

Yes Messi is from my home country too Argentina...But I admire to see Barça play is just the best team in the world...It is fun just to watch that team, with Messi or w/out him, with Ibra or w/out him...

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

After reading the article I think is becoming a jelousy issue of being a prima donna in Inter but here in Barça he is just one more player in the team. Like Eto was one more player in the team...yes both are awesome players...but the 'star' is and has to be Messi and the combination Inesta-Xabi-Alves-Messi works fantastic.

I have nothing against Messi, Iniesta and Xavi as individuall players and persons, but I think they are excluding Zlatan. And thats what media thinks as well. I can see this so crystal clear in some games, even in La Liga. I think as a team you must play also as a team, not be a egoistic jerk. Those players I have mentioned above are great players, maybe one of the best in the world. But does that high status give them right to exclude other players?

I don't think he is that "prima donna" like Ronaldo in Madrid for example and I dunno what makes him become that either. Etoo is having as much as "great power" in Inter as Zlatan did. I'm just saying that they must include ALL players when they play. For gods sake, they are teammates!

But that's my personal opinion. Sorry, I can't spanish yet, but I will lern it one day :-)

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

Badge image
Don't think they are excluding Zlatan. He started pretty well, scoring almost a goal per match, now he's not doing so well. It is said that he is trying to be too exquisite instead of effective, and missing goal chances because of that.

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

Badge image
Honestly I haven't read any article in (any language) which the press says that Zlatan is being excluded, or that teammates don't pass him the ball. The article you provided sellcius the link to simply reflects Zlatan's opinion.

I regularly read Sports, the Barça newspaper, and none of the commentators mentions anything like that. Now if you tell who to chose in the field to start Henry or Ibrahimovich, I would chose the later one . However Pep Guardiola must have seen something that allows the offensive power of the team to be better exploided like they started against the Sttutgart and Valencia indeed it worked very well with Henry.

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

BTW , tomorrow against Zaragoza it will be Ibrahimovich's chance , Messi will not be playing because he has toothache due to infection

According to his agent, Mino Raviola, Zlatan is feeling very mentally bad because some things that happend in the team recently. Raviola said that Zlatan allways pass the ball to his teammates, and even when he plays bad he allways does something good (have also noticed that on telly myself). But there are also those players who allways scores goals and never do a single pass. And in friday Raviola said "If Zlatan want to change club, then we'll work on it".

:(

Now internal conflicts does happend all the time in every footballclub in this planet and usually the manager of the team solves it quickley. Why Pep didn't sovled this immediately is strange. Remember, I'm not blaming only Messi for this weird mess, I'm blaming the coach and the manager for letting this now getting (almost) out of control. It is ridiculous and stupid situation who easily can be fixed. A first class player may now leave Barca because of some stpuid internal issues with some players. He had never got such problems in his previous clubs. In Inter and Juve they loved to play with him. Also in Ajax and Malmö FF. Why some players in Barca don't want to even pass the ball to him is kind of odd and is only sending me a signal called nothing but exclusion. Unfortunalty!

I know what this is and how it starts and how it feels, because I have experienced such bad thing myself long ago, when I was a middfielder in a youth team IRL. It's from this kind of thing the bullying itself beginn slowly to raise... believe me.

But don't forget: I love Barca as much as I also love Zlatan. And now I'm looking forward to see him play against Zaragoza. I'm feeling that many eyes will be watching him play. So I wish both him and Barca all the best luck and I hope everything will be solved fast, real fast.

Oooh MESSI SAN MESSI !!

There are no more words to describe this kid . HATTRICK! , his second goal was UNBELIEVABLE!.... I tell you guys. I saw Maradona played he is from my generation. Messi is in his league and this is football history. Watch his game , watch him play , enjoy him you may not see this again in your lifetime I'm not exaggerating believe me . He is playing better and better by the minute. I don't care if he doesn't play well in the WC , but what he is doing now is truly amazing.

Zlatan, oh Zlatan....They didn't pass the ball to him?...He had numerous chances, three were easy goals, easy goals, two of them served by Messi...and he missed them... He is far from his best...He shouldn't complain he should keep his mouth shut and his agent too. He will start scoring again...Because he missed two easy goals Zaragoza almost gets back in to the game ..They were 0-3 he missed two and they scored back to back at 85 min. 2-3....
AND who saved Barça again!...? . who? San Messi...yes he juked half of the Zaragoza defense and they committed penalty just to stop him and avoid his fourth goal....What did the EGOIST OF MESSI DO?...He gave the chance to Zlatan!...Finally he scored ......

Messi is football history live!..now!

Yeah, right, whatever. I saw the game too you know. Messi was clever. He gave Zlatan the opportunity to burn the penalty, so that spanish media and fans would make him even more "popular" in España... But unfortunalty for Messi he didn't. Because Zlatan never miss a penalty.

I can read some players in Barca like a little childbook, because everything is so obvious - even on a telly. When Zlatan came to Barca, he scored 1-2 goals in every single game. And to congrat him by saying "welcome to the team", some jerks (without mention any specific names) slowed him down a bit by saying "Ok, you are good, but F U if you think that you will become as good as we!" - or something like that. So pathetic and stupid, because as I said, they are ALL teammates ffs. But some players didn't get that, unfortunalty. Makes me also wonder how come that Zlatan scored his first goal yesterday since february 14:th and what is the REAL reason for him having this bad form...

Messi might be great, but he would become even more great if he stopped this kind of arrogant childbehaviour, that reminds me of crybaby Ronaldos in Madrid. He allways have to make an extra dribble rather than extra pass to a teammate (and that means not only to Zlatan).

Also, Pep was very satisfied with Zlatan and thinks that he has returned to his original form, like he was when he came to Barca. So we'll see what will happend next. I have to also say that Puyol and Alves played very good football. They did one hell of a nice job. Allways appreciated to see that there are others who does that too instead of other stupidity.

And @river, please don't take this from me too personal all because you are from Argentina and I from Bosnia. I like Diego and Lionel as much as I like Zlatan, I am also a Barca-fan like you. But sometimes I wish things could be even more better in the team. And the most thing I want is that Zlatan never leaves, because this kind of problems who are left behind wont help to feel any better later either. He have to, togheter with those players and Pep, solve this crazy "problem" so it ends well. Cause you can't run away from problems, sooner or later they'll catch you.

But that's what I think. So no hard feelings, ok? :P

-------------------------------------------------

Don't think so. Zlatan took the ball himself, taking himself the responsibility of shooting, there was no "Messi offer" so to speak. And I'm with river: Zlatan missed a couple of clear chances. Think they tried to help him to solve his problems, and hope this goal relaxes him and stars playing at his best.

Messi might be great, but he would become even more great if he stopped this kind of arrogant childbehaviour, that reminds me of crybaby Ronaldos in Madrid.
-----------------------------------------------------------

No way. You've got to be kidding me right here. CR9 is far more worse, egoistic, whimp, poser, crybaby, cocky, and flashy than messi will ever be in his entire life. That's one of the reasons why Messi is loved by many fans and Ronaldo is so much hatedYou cannot compare Leo with Ronaldo. They are as different as Pacino (=Leo) and Robert Pattinson a.k.a the stupid, ugly Twilight guy (=Ronalkdo)

>>>>Messi might be great, but he would become even more great if he stopped this kind of arrogant childbehaviour,>>>>

What?? Man you are really blind , Messi is a very humble kid, very humble , he is no arrogant, he is shy... I guess sellcius you just spell it out , you don't give a crap about Barca you only care about Ibrahimovich.. that's all . To say that Messi is arrogant is just ridiculous...
What do you expect Messi to do when he knows that he can score every single time, to pass the ball?....It is the same ridiculous argument against Higuain in Real Madrid and the stupid things that Gutti said...that he didn't pass the ball to CR9 ...Higuain doesn't pass it because he scores...
Not as Messi though...

But sellcius you are confuse very confuse... So you really think that in Messi's mind there was a Machiavelian plan to give the penalty to Zatlan wishing that he missed?....Really???!!!!!

We cannot talk about this issue any longer sorry, because obviously you are not rational

Re: FC Barcelona fans on MZ

In addition this suppose to be the Barça Federation not the Ibrahimovich Federation or Messi Federation.. sellcius go ahead an open the Ibrahimovich Fed.

Barcelona is the greatest team at the moment in the world it is a pleasure to watch it.
I NEVER in my life so a team so good as Barcelona and so complete , a pleasure to the eyes is like watching a jazz band jamming as somebody made that analogy....

Yeah ...enjoy it because teams like this with stars like this you will not see more than once or twice every generation.

Yeah...and also enjoy a superstar like Messi because players like that you will only see one per generation and it happens to have been born in Argentina but was formed as a player in La Cantera del Barça .

In addition Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in the World! . I have been there a couple of times , I have been in many cities around the world and Barcelona is my favorite one.

Ok, maybe you've right. There are more points of view than one, and it may also be true. I only hope that this stupid, unnecessary sittuation will be solved quick so they all can leave it behind and focus on upcomming games, like the one against Arsenal. I know that Zlatan sometimes is unnecessary angy too (he isn't afraid to speak loudly about things you maybe shall keep inside the team iow). And I really hope that Zlatan will stay and don't leave because of some little crap.

Maybe you've right. Ronaldo is the biggest crybaby on this planet hehe :D I have no harm feelings against Messi, he is a great player but sometimes I think it's good to be smart and share the ball, or give the penalty to other players. He can't allways have what he's point at, if u know what I mean. A great footballteam doesn't work that way. Well, ok, maybe it does in Real Madrid where the real divas playes haha..^^

But ok, enough of this crap. We have some great games a head and Zlatan is on fire again, Messi too. So it will be very interessting game against Arsenal, even if I predict a very great win for us :-)

@river, chill out :P Read my second latest post. It seems that there are many points of view than only one here ;P But anyway, as I said, this crappy mess will be fixed soon - which I hope - for everyones sake. And then everything will be as it supposed to be, like it was when Zlatan arrived.

Internal conflicts happend all the time everywhere and they can be solved in one or another way - peacefully. So now let's get this crap behing us and focus on the future and upcomming games :-)
